Instructions:
- SIGN-IN - To read, write or search the forum, you must be registered. If you do not have an account, you can register for a new account on this page.
- READ - You can click on any thread (each discussion topic is called a 'thread') to read the posts within that thread. If you want to read all the posts from every thread, simply click on "View All Messages".
- WRITE - If you want to post a message to an existing thread, simply click on "Respond to Message", enter the subject & message in the appropriate fields and click "Submit". Since this forum is moderated, please allow up to one business day for your post to be viewable on the site. Once your message has been posted, you can edit or delete your own posts. You cannot edit or delete any one else's posts.
- CREATE - If you want to start a new discussion, from the threads list page you can click on "Create a New Thread" to start a new discussion. Then enter the subject & message in the appropriate fields and click "Submit". Please keep in mind that since this forum is moderated, it may take up to one business day for the new thread to be viewable on the site.
- SEARCH - If you wish to search the forums or the entire web site, you can use the search field in the upper right. If you wish to narrow your search to either just the forum or just other parts of the web site (section, category or article) you can do it from the search results page. Simply enter your search term in the upper right search field and click "Go". When your initial search results are shown, click on the "Search Only" box you want to filter your results by and click on the "search" button again. It will then display your filtered search.
- SUBSCRIBE - When you click on "Subscribe to Thread" you will receive an email notification every time someone posts a new message on that thread. That way, you will know each time the thread has been updated. Please keep in mind that since this forum is moderated, it may take up to one business day for the new posts to be posted on the site.
Rules & Guidelines:
- You must register in order to read or post messages.
- Since all discussions are moderated, please allow up to one business day for your message to be posted on the forum.
- For security reasons, please do not post addresses, phone numbers or personal information.
- While debate and discussion is fine, rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or inflammatory messages will not be posted.
- References to eye care providers by name, either in praise or criticism, will not be posted.
- If you request recommendations for KC specialists in your area, ask that referrals be emailed directly to you AND include your email address in the message.
- Post your message in the thread that best fits the content.
- Messages containing advertisements or chain letters will not be posted.
- Business solicitations or 'recruitment' are not within the scope of this forum and will not be posted.
- Once you have typed a message, please read what you have written before sending it. If you think it could offend, please go back and edit it.
